Have you recently purchase a new or used motorhome? Are you considering taking your motorhome camping? If you and your family have not been camping before you are in for a great treat. Camping can be a very enjoyable experience if you are prepared for it.
The first thing you need to decide is where you want to go camping! How far away you want to go? How much time you have? Whether you want to stay in a private campground or a state park? Once you have answered these questions you need to make your reservations. You will need to know how long your motorhome is and if you want a site with just electric hook up or if you will want electric and water hook up.
After your reservations are made it is time to start packing! It is best to make lists to insure that you do not forget anything. It is very handy if you keep your motorhome stocked with items you need for camping. This makes getting ready for camping that much easier! You can keep towels, bedding, kitchen items, tools for grilling over the fire, games you like to play while camping, and bug spray in your motorhome. If all of this stuff is already in your motorhome the rest of the packing is a breeze.
All you need to pack is your clothes, and do not forget to pack swimming suites if the campground has swimming facilities. If you have children you will want to pack old clothing! They seem to get dirtier than normal when camping! You will also need to pack the food you would like to eat while camping. This is perhaps my favorite part, food cooked over the fire is better than any other food!
After you do all these things you are ready to go camping with your Motorhome. You will have a great time, while making wonderful memories for you and your family!
